Security tab missing in windows xp professional |

In Windows XP home and Windows XP professional the folder security tab is disabled by default.
In order to enable it open a windows explorer session
go into tools / folder options / view and in the advances panel there is an option to " use simple file shaing (recommended)" unclick that and hey presto the security tab is back.
